Part 1: Shia Interpretation of Hadith Thaqalayn Under Microscope

Shia Interpretation of Hadith Thaqalayn Under Microscope

In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, who promised his faithful slaves victory and support by saying, “and helping the believers is ever incumbent on Us” (Ar-Room 47 verse), who honors and humiliates whomsoever He pleases. Peace be on the Prophet Muhammad, the Messenger of Mercy to the world, a Light unto all creation and a Savior of the faithful servants of God. This time Allah the greatest made the enemies of Islam expose their true satanic faces from their own writings. The shian e dajjal have openly declared that Prophet(saw) is not a guide for them. Indeed “They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah”.(8:30)

Let us make clear to our readers that as for Ahlesunnah, we believe that Prophet(saw) is our Guide and will remain our Guide forever, He(saw) is a Guide for us through his teachings and according to us he(saw) was the FINAL divinely appointed Guide for mankind.

Now, regarding the shian e dajjal then the heretic acknowledgement came from the shian-e- dajjal, when they tried to refute, our irrefutable article on hadith Thaqalayn. We call it irrefutable not because we are being sarcastic but because what we presented was plain truth and however deceptive the liars and their lies may be, they cannot defeat or overcome the truth, since Allah is the helper of those who are on truth. Thus when out of frustration the shian e dajjal attempted to answer our article they committed come blunders, which exposed to the world the true beliefs of shian e dajjal. It would have been preferable for the shian e dajjal, not to make an attempt to refute truth, but when they tried to do that, they not only exposed their own heretic beliefs but they even proved to the world that there was nothing in our article for which they had the courage to refute. In article which shian e dajjal wrote, they instead of addressing our points and then trying to answer it, they completely derailed away from our explanation, and jumped to another issue, where they made some ridiculous run arounds. From and academic point of view, the so called refutation of the shian e dajjal for our article turned out to be  a disaster against them, where they not only tried to fool some ignorant people, but they fooled their ownselves, because nothing present in those article in any way refuted our views. In this article by the help of Allah we will be exposing the beliefs of those shian e dajjal by proving that how unislamic, illogical and contradictory there beliefs are. Respected readers we urge you to ponder over the questions raised in our article, so as to realize that how much deviated and heretic the teachings of this cult are and those who are still being fooled by propagators of such deviant teachings should repent before its too late for them. Lastly, we request our readers not forget to read and spread our open challenge in the last section of this article(part1).

Here is the screenshot of the page where the shian e dajjal made this open declaration:

“Shian e dajjal openly declared that:

he (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was not the guide to the generations after him. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was the warner and guide to the people of his time. He (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is also the warner to the entire world till the Day of Resurrection – through the Qur’an. However, he is not the guide of the generations after his death. The guide must be alive in this world with the people of his time. Therefore, the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is the warner to all Muslims and all mankind till eternity. But he was the guide only to the people of his time. After his death, other people were guides.”

The whole discussion in our article(part 1) will be revolving around the declaration of shian e dajjal that Prophet(saw) is not their Guide. Which obviously proves that guidance couldn’t be sought from Prophet(Saw), but only from the Guides of a particular generation. We will also be addressing the illogical and ridiculous beliefs of the shias that the earth cannot survive without the presence of a divinely appointed guide in this part.

There are Two Types of Hidayah (Guidance)

Type 1: In type one Huda(guidance) means the faith that resides in the heart , and only Allah is able to create it in the heart of the servants. Allah said in Quran, (Verily, you (O Muhammad ) guide not whom you like) (28:56),

(Not upon you (Muhammad ) is their guidance) (2:272),

Type 2: In type two Huda means to explain the truth, to direct and teach people to straight path. Allah, the Exalted, said, (And verily, you (O Muhammad ) are indeed guiding (mankind) to the straight path (i.e. Allah’s religion of Islamic Monotheism)) (42: 52),

(You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide) (13:7),

These are they whom Allah guided, therefore follow their guidance(6:91)

So we came to know that there are two types of guidance one is faith that resides in the heart ,which only Allah can provide, not even the prophet. Second is practical guidance, which are all the Islamic teachings.(salah, zakat etc and how to perform those, etc). We don’t know any example of guidance which is apart from these things and Praise be to Allah, In acquiring second type of guidance, Prophet(Saw) is the Guide for Ahlesunnah, we derive all the Islamic rulings, from sunnah and teaching of our beloved Prophet Muhammed(saw).

But the shias have DECLARED that Prophet(saw) after his death is not a Guide, Ali(ra) after his death was not a Guide, similarly jafar sadiq(ra) after his death was not a Guide….So now the only guide they have is their 12Th Hidden Imam. All these Imams because they are dead they are not guides according to shia terminology. So we ask the shias to provide us SINGLE explicit example of guidance provided by their hidden Imam, which is apart from the teachings of Prophet(Saw) and his sunnah. Because they don’t consider prophet(Saw) to be Guide now.

What is the definition of guidance in the view of shias?

As we have said above, (second type)guidance in the sight of Ahlesunnah is teachings of Prophet(saw) and his sunnah. Through these we are being guided even today, that is why we consider prophet(Saw) our guide. But we want to know what is the definition of Guidance in the view of shian e dajjal?

Do they consider teachings and sunnah of prophet(Saw) as guidance or not? If yes why don’t they say that Prophet(saw) is their Guide even after his death for certain things, atleast?

If they don’t consider teachings and sunnah of Prophet(saw) as Guidance, then We request the shias to please give us JUST ONE explicit example of the guidance they receive from their present hidden Imam(which could be proven practically when demanded), which helps them to attain guidance, which unfortunately couldn’t be provided by the Guide of sunnis, since prophet(saw) is dead, But could only be provided by their Hidden Guide since he is Alive.

If they can’t give even ONE example for the above request, then how dare they, to insult the Guide of Sunnis by saying that he(saw) is not guide now? Because our guide is still guiding us through his teachings, where as their hidden guide is good for nothing.

Moreover when the Guide of sunnis(i.e prophet(saw)) could guide us even after his death , through his teachings and sunnah then claiming that it was incumbent to have a divinely appointed guide otherwise earth would have been destroyed is nothing but stupidity and is man-made principle in order to achieve some evil goals.

There is no guidance beyond teachings of Prophet(Saw) and his sunnah to attain salvation

As we have seen above that there are two types of guidance as for the first then its in the hand of Allah only, but as for the second the Prophet(Saw) is guide for that. This guidance is nothing but the teaching of Prophet(saw), his sunnah, his ahadees(narrations), Because he is the best example for us to derive all these types of guidance as Allah said in Quran “Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much. (33:21)”. Here we see Allah singles out Prophet(Saw) as the best example. Allah didn’t say that every guide of that generation is best example for Muslims, who hopes in meeting Allah and Last day.

Thus we Ahlesunnah proudly declare that Prophet(Saw) is our FINAL divinely appointed Guide even for today and will remain until day of judgment, who is the best example to be followed. And we receive all type of guidance from the teachings of Prophet(Saw) and his sunnah to attain salvation. From our view there is no guidance apart from the teaching and Sunnah of Prophet(Saw) through which one can attain salvation, Or any such guidance apart from teachings of Prophet(saw) that without it the earth couldn’t have survived.

But the shias have declared that Prophet(Saw) is not their guide, Praise be to Allah who have exposed the true dajjali faces of these shian e dajjal from their own writing. Now we request our readers to ponder over these points we are mentioning, so as to save themselves from the beliefs of shian e dajjal.

Question: Is there any sort of guidance which is beyond or apart from the teachings and sunnah of Prophet(Saw) through which one can attain salvation ?  If yes then we ask the shias to  give us just one clear example of that guidance which cannot be attained by the teachings of Prophet(saw), But could only be attained by their hidden Imam. If they can’t provide us EVEN A SINGLE CLEAR EXAMPLE or atleast to their own followers then we advice them to have some shame and fear Allah, And not to mislead innocent people which will in turn cause a grave disaster for them even in this world as well as in hereafter.

Isn’t the teachings and Sunnah of Prophet(saw) a source of Guidance?

Muslims believe that the best and primary source to receive the guidance through which one could be guided and could attain Salvation is through teachings of Prophet(Saw). Which Prophet(saw) showed us in simple and clear manner, and these teachings covered all the necessary points to attain salvation, be it minute details like how to urinate, etc. That is why he(saw) is the best source of Guidance for Ahlesunnah and that is why we take our guidance from Prophet(Saw), through his sunnah and teachings. That is why Prophet Muhammad(saw) is our FINAL divinely appointed Guide.

Now any unbiased and honest person will agree that the only way one could be guided is through Quran, teachings of prophet(saw) and his sunnah. So obviously Prophet(saw) is still our final divinely appointed Guide, it isn’t necessary that he should be present when ALL what was needed to attain guidance and salvation was taught by Prophet(Saw) is available to us in clear and simple manner. As quran says This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you(5:3)

And even the prophet(Saw) said: No doubt! Haven’t I conveyed Allah’s message to you? They(sahaba) said, “Yes.” He said, “O Allah! Be witness. So it is incumbent upon those who are present to convey it (this information) to those who are absent. (Sahi bukhari 2.797)

To understand our point properly consider this scenario: Prophet(saw) taught to the believers(sahaba) all what was to be need to attain guidance and to attain salvation. Some of the Sahaba went to different countries or lands, where Prophet(Saw) was not present, now was he still there, “a guide”? Any sane person will say yes. Though he was not present among them, yet he was still their guide, because the believers were getting the guidance from teachings and sunnah of Prophet(Saw) during that time. So if Prophet(saw) could be a guide to those people without being present between them, then why can’t prophet(Saw) be our guide or guide of sahaba(ra) after his death? Because what all was needed to attain guidance was taught by Prophet(saw), which is present in HIS SUNNAH AND TEACHINGS.

Our example is even affirmed by an authentic narration from sahi  bukhari 4.632: Narrated Mujahid: I asked Ibn `Abbas, “Should we perform a prostration on reciting Surat−Sa`d?” He recited (the Sura) including: ‘And among his progeny, David, Solomon..(up to)… These are they whom Allah guided, therefore follow their guidance(Quran 6:84−91) And then he said, “Your Prophet is amongst those people who have been ordered to follow them (i.e. the preceding apostles).

Here we find that, Allah commanded us to follow the guidance of Prophets who were dead, and even when Ibn abbas(ra) made this statement Prophet(Saw) was dead, since mujahid became the student of Ibn abbas(ra) after the death of Prophet(saw). Moreover Ibn abbas(ra) no where mentions about a divinely appointed guide here other than prophets. Thus this proves that the beliefs of shias are home-made beliefs which has no place in Islam. Thus Prophet(Saw) is still our final divinely appointed Guide.

Note:1 An ignorant shia might be humiliated by these facts and could come up saying, what if there would have raised a doubt among the people who lived in different countries in the time of Prophet(saw)? So surely they needed some one to clear their doubt. Well a shia who have some sense about their own cult wouldn’t dare to raise such argument because, how then the present hidden Imam of shias is clearing their doubts? On the contrary we find their Scholars(Ayatullahs) clearing those, so why couldn’t the knowledgeable sahaba of that time who lived in those countries (who were way way  more knowledgeable than the shia scholars) clear the doubts of people around them?

2. If the shias argue that its Islamic jurisprudence then, even that is provided by the shia ayatuallahs and that too contradictory from one scholar(ayatollah) to another. For details refer point #11 in this article.(link)

Who is the guide for every people(Qawm) ?

Quran says: You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide (13:7)

Now lets see from the correct view in the light of quran who is the guide for every Qawm(people/nation). And please note that Qawm doesn’t means generation in this verse, this will be discussed in detail in the article later.

First view:

Group narrated from Mujahid that each nation has a guider means prophet which called him to Allah.

This is supported by this verse of Quran, “And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are indeed guiding (mankind) to the Straight Path” (42:52)

Second view:

Which was narrated by ibn Jareer, that Said ibn Jubair said: Muhammad is Munzir(warner) and Allah is Guide

Ibn Jareer narrated it from 3 chains from him

This view is also supported by Quran, “But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper (25:31)”

Now both of these views are correct and are even supported by Quran. However we read in Shia book that:

Shia scholar al-Qadi Sa’eed Muhammad bin Muhammad al-Mufid says in “Sharh Tawheed al-Saduq” vol.2 pg.580, chapter 14:

[By having researched this, it is now clear with the utmost clarity, that there is no Prophet or Wali from the first and the last unless our Mawla ‘Ali (as) is his guide to Allah. And in the narration about the saying of Allah {And for every people a guide} meaning: ‘Ali is the guide to every people, all of them turn to ‘Ali (as) in their prayer in order to reach Allah. From this it is clarified that he (as) was the companion of Ibrahim (as) and the saviour of Nuh (as) and other things which were mentioned by Salman and Abu Dharr (ra).]

The view that Ali(ra) is the only (divine)guide after Prophet(Saw) is a forgery of shias.

Reason 1: It is not necessary for Guide to be alive in order to seek his guidance.

Shias say that Prophet(saw) was guide until he was alive but he was not a guide after his death. But this is their home-made principle, which goes against quran and authentic narrations.  Because it is not necessary that the guide should be alive so that he could be followed, sahi  bukhari 4.632: Narrated Mujahid: I asked Ibn `Abbas, “Should we perform a prostration on reciting Surat−Sa`d?” He recited (the Sura) including: ‘And among his progeny, David, Solomon..(up to)… These are they whom Allah guided, therefore follow their guidance(Quran 6:84−91) And then he said, “Your Prophet is amongst those people who have been ordered to follow them (i.e. the preceding apostles).

Here we find that, Allah commanded us to follow the guidance of Prophets who were dead, and even when Ibn abbas(ra) made this statement Prophet(Saw) was dead, since mujahid became the student of Ibn abbas(ra) after the death of Prophet(saw). Moreover Ibn abbas(ra) no where mentions about another guide apart from Prophets. Thus this proves that the beliefs of shias are home-made which has no weight at all.

As for the verse mentioned in the narration then, Mufassireen have differed on the the word “Hadi(Guide)”, some said the prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and some said it is the Prophet of each nation and some said Allah (swt) and some said men or leaders who guide during every generation. When we read Tafseer al-Tabari, we find that he considered the single Hadith that says “Ali” as the weakest possibility, he didn’t even take it into consideration in his conclusion:

Reason 2: All the narrations which say that Ali(ra) is the guide are weak because they contain weak shia narrators. Even their text is odd.

Narration 1:

Ahmad ibn Yahya al-Sufi – al-Hasan ibn al-Husayn al-Ansari – Mu’adh ibn Muslim Baya’ al-Harwi – ‘Ata ibn al-Saaib – Sa’id ibn Jubayr – Ibn ‘Abbas who said: When the verse {You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide} was revealed, the Prophet placed his hand on his chest and said, “I am the warner {and to every people there is a guide}.” Then he placed his hand on the shoulder of ‘Ali and said: “You are the guide, O Ali! Through you will those seeking guidance after me attain it.” [Abu Ja’far Muhammad ibn Jarir ibn Yazid ibn Khalid al-Tabari, Jami’ al-Bayan [12 Volumes], Volume 7, page 341]

Verification of narration:

narrator :Hasan-ibn-Husayn, that’s al-Ansari al-Aruni.
Dhahabi in Mizanul itidal noticed that he was from the leaders of shias. Ibn Adi said: His ahadeth does not looks like ahadeth of thiqat. He was criticised also by ibn Hibban and Abu Hatim. (Mizanul itidal 1/483/#1829).

Heythami said:

Basically he mentioned here that al-Ashqar was discredited by majority.

Al-Asqalani said in Taqreeb:
1318- الحسين ابن الحسن الأشقر الفزاري الكوفي صدوق يهم ويغلو في التشيع من العاشرة مات سنة ثمان ومائتين س
He said: Hussein ibn Hasan al-Ashqar saduq, erred and was ghulat in tashayoo(exaggerator in shiism)

narrator: Muaz ibn Muslim: Is Majhool(anonymous)  (Mizanul itidal 4/132/#8613)

narrator: Ata ibn Saaib thiqat from great tabein. But he got confuse in the end of his life. Imam Ahmad said that whoever heard from him in the past it was saheeh, but whoever heard from him in last time of his life, that was nothing. (Mizanul itidal 3/70/#5614).

al-Dhahabi said:

“Ibn Jariri (al-Tabari) narrated it from Mu’ath bin Muslim and he is Nakirah.”

Ibn Katheer also commented on it:

وهذا الحديث فيه نكارة شديدة

“Hadith is extremely Munkar.”

Imam Ibn Hajar rejected this narration:

Ibn hajar said it’s not Thabit(proven) and its narrators are Shia. And he said the narration of the innovator is not accepted when narrating in support of his innovation.

al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani says in al-Meezan:

وينبغي أن يقيد قولنا بقبول رواية المبتدع إذا كان صدوقا ولم يكن داعية بشرط أن لا يكون الحديث الذي يحدث به مما يعضد بدعته ويشيدها فإنا لا نأمن حينئذ عليه من غلبة الهوى والله الموفق
لسان الميزان 1/11

“Our acceptance of the narration of the innovator if he were trustworthy and did not call for it, is tied to the condition that the Hadith that he is narrating does not support his innovation and strengthen it, it is not safe for us to assume in that case that the desire did not overcome him, and success is from Allah.”[Lisan al Mizan, 1/11]

This narration have several defects, hence its very weak , that’s why its rejected.

Narration 2:

Imam al-Hakim al-Naysaburi in his al-Mustadrak also records:

أخبرنا أبو عمر و عثمان بن أحمد بن السماك ثنا عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن منصور الحارثي ثنا حسين بن حسن الأشقر ثنا منصور بن أبي الأسود عن الأعمش عن المنهال بن عمرو عن عباد بن عبد الله الأسدي عن علي : إنما أنت منذر و لكل قوم هاد قال علي : رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم المنذر و انا الهادي

Abu ‘Amr and ‘Uthman ibn Ahmad ibn al-Samak – Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Mansur al-Harithi – Husayn ibn Hasan al-Ashqar – Mansur ibn Abi al-Aswad – al-A’mash – al-Minhal – ‘Amro- Abaad ibn Abdullah al-Asdi – ‘Ali (ibn Abi Talib) who said: {You are only a warner and to every people there is a guide}. The Messenger of Allah, peace ne upon him, is the warner, and I AM THE GUIDE.”[Abu ‘Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hakim al-Naysaburi, al-Mustadrak ‘ala al-Sahihayn [4 Volumes] (Beirut, Lebanon: Dar al-Kutub al-‘Ilmiyyah; first edition, 1990) [annotator: Mustafa Abd al-Qadir Ata] Volume 3, page 140, Number 4646]

Verification:

narrator: Abbad ibn Abdullah al-Asdi shia. Imam Bukhari said Fihi nadhar (meaning he is questionable, and that’s most severe type of criticism from Bukhari). Ali ibn Madini said he was weak. (Mizanul itidal 2/368/#4126). Ibn hajar said: “Da’eef”, Dhahabi said: “Matrouk”, ‘Ali bin al-Madeni said: “Da’eef al-Hadith”…

Narrator: Husain al-Ashqar weak.  From Mizan:

Buhari said: He’s under question(: Fihi nadhar).Abu Dhurah: Munkar al-hadeeth.

Nasai, Daraqutni, Abu Hatim said he wasn’t strong. Abu Muamar al-Huzali said he was liar. (Mizanul itidal 1/531/#1986)

Al-Minhal bin ‘Amro: Ibn hazm said: “Laysa bil Qawi.”.

narrator: Al-Amash thiqat but mudalis, and he reported it in anana. he didn’t make clear that he heard it himself.

Thus even this narration have several defects, hence its very weak , that’s why its rejected.

Book, Kanzul Ammal

Verification:

The route is the same as in first narration: Hasan ibn Husayn  – Muaz ibn Muslim- Ata ibn Saaib.

So same problems in it.

Sheikh Albani said it’s fabrication in Silsila ad-daifa 4899.
And ibn Taymiyah ruled that it’s lie in Minhaj 7/139

Narration 4: Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal records:

‘Abdullah – ‘Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah – Mutalab ibn Ziyad – al-Saddi – Abd al-Khayr – ‘Ali, while commenting on the verse {You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide}, said: “Allah’s Apostle, peace be upon him, is the warner, AND THE GUIDE IS A MAN FROM BANU HASHIM.” [Abu ‘Abdullah Ahmad ibn Hanbal al-Shaybani, Musnad [annotator: Shaykh Ahmad Shakir], Volume 2, page 227, Number 140344]

Analysis of Text:

The Shi’ee translated it according to his twisted understanding into this: [‘Ali, while commenting on the verse {You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide}, said: “Allah’s Apostle, peace be upon him, is the warner, AND THE GUIDE IS A MAN FROM BANU HASHIM.”]

The correct understanding is: Ali said: The Prophet (pbuh) said: The munthir and the haad are a man from Bani Hashim.

Notice, the words in the sentence can be understood in two ways. The first in which the Prophet (pbuh) refers to himself as a munthir then ambiguously says that there is another man that is the haad. The second is that he is saying that both attributes fit one man from Bani Hashim.

The reason the second opinion is correct is because it is supported by other authentic narrations. Take for example this other narration by Al-Suddi:
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن الهروي ، ثنا أبو داود الحفري ، عن سفيان الثوري ، عن السدي ، عن عكرمة ، عن ابن عباس : « ( إنما أنت منذر ولكل قوم هاد  ) قال : هو المنذر وهو الهاد ، يعني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم »
Al-Saddi from Ikrimah from Ibn Abbas: The munthir and the haad means the Prophet (pbuh).

So, unless we are going to say that Al-Saddi had two contradicting tafaseer for this one ayya, it is better to say that he had one view and the first narration should be understood to mean that both are referring to a man from Bani Hashim (the Prophet).

Verification:

This one is also weak, though it doesn’t points out anyone as guide in particular , but still it is unreliable, not only because of its chain but even because of its text.

Narrator: Suddi, that’s Ismail ibn Abdurrahman ibn Abu Karima, and he was disputed. Some scholars weakened him others said he was upright.

Narrator: Muttalib ibn Ziyad. Imam Ibn Maeen and others said he was thiqat. Abu Dawud said he was salih. Abu Hatim noticed that he shouldn’t be relied upon. Ibn Sad said he was weak. (Mizanul itidal 4/128/#8591)

Regarding this narration Dhahabi in Mizan (3/38) said it’s very strange (odd) (ghareeb jidan)

Sheikh Shuayb Arnawut said:

1041 – حدثنا عبد الله حدثني عثمان بن أبي شيبة ثنا مطلب بن زياد عن السدي عن عبد خير عن علي : في قوله { إنما أنت منذر ولكل قوم هاد } قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم المنذر والهاد رجل من بنى هاشم
تعليق شعيب الأرنؤوط : إسناده ضعيف وفي متنه نكارة

Chain is weak, in the text is oddity (or unacceptable meaning).

Let us make clear to our readers that, we would have simply posted the rulings from scholars on these narrations who stated them weak, but the reason we did the verification before you, so that no one could take you for a ride(by quoting a mere ruling), because there are few scholars who might have authenticated the ISNAAD(chain) of the narration, but we know, none of the scholar is free from committing errors. So those who authenticated the ISNAAD made an error in their judgment. Importantly, not to forget that even though they authenticated the ISNAAD(chain) erroneously but they didn’t authenticate the narration(hadees) as a whole. Because authenticating hadees, and authenticating the Isnaad are two different issues.

But if this doesn’t seems to be a satisfactory response to shian e dajjal then let us bring before you a narration, which will make the shias understand the issue properly and will bring them back to ground.

It is reported from the Prophet that he said: “My Companions are like the stars; whoever among them you use for guidance, you will be rightly guided.”.” [Saghani declarated it as hasan(fair). Iqamatul hujja p 24.]

For details regarding the scholars who authenticated it refer this:(source)

But that fact is that this narration is weak, though scholar called it hassan(fair/good). Now if the shian e dajjal want us to rely on the weak narration which state was Ali(ra) was a guide, since some scholars mistakenly authenticated just the chain of narration not the complete narration. Then it will be fair enough to say that we should even rely on this weak narration, which shows that all the sahaba(companions) were guides.  Nevertheless, all these narrations are weak and non reliable thus they should be rejected.

But even if this doesn’t seem to be satisfactory to the shias and they behave like bigots, then here is something which will destroy all of their deceptive tactics:

1. The Prophet said: “If a prophet were to succeed me, it would have been ‘Umar bin al-Khattab” (Tirmidhi, kitab al-manaqib, bab manaqib ‘Umar).

Comment: So obviously if there was a possibility of an divine Guide after prophet(saw) then surely Umar(ra) should be entitled for that.

2. Shaykh Muhammad Ameen Shinqiti said :
أخرج الإمام البخاري بسند صحيح في التاريخ الكبير (5|240): عن أبي مسهر حدثنا سعيد بن عبد العزيز عن ربيعة بن يزيد عن (الصحابي عبد الرحمن) بن أبي عميرة قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لمعاوية: «اللهم اجعلهُ هادِياً مَهديّاً واهده واهدِ به».

“It was transmitted by imam Bukhari in his “Tareeh al-kabir” (5/240) via authentic chain: From Abu Musakhar, it was reported to me by Sayed ibn Abdulaziz from Rabi`ee ibn Yazid from (companion Abdurrahman) ibn Abu Umeyrat, which said: Prophet (sallalahu alaihi wa ala alihi wa sallam) said about Muawiyah: “Allah, make him (Muawiya) guided, a guider, and guide people through him“.[Ahadeth an-nabawiya fi fadhail Muawiya ibn Abu Sufyan]

Note: Ahlesunnah doesn’t interpret these narrations like the shias, we don’t use these narrations to show that these companions of Prophet(saw) were divinely appointed guides by Allah.

Contradictory belief of the shias regarding Guide and Warner(uncovering their true beliefs).

As we have seen that the shian e dajjal claimed that: “The Prophet(saw) was the warner and guide to the people of his time. He(saw) is also the warner to the entire world till the Day of Resurrection – through the Qur’an. However, he is not the guide of the generations after his death.”

This is even mentioned in shia tafseer , of Aqa Mahdi pooya, available on shia website al-Islam.org: Imam Muhammad bin Ali al Baqir also said that “the warner” means the Holy Prophet and “the guide” means Ali and added “the authority to guide continues among us”. This verse also points to the continued existence of a “guide”, namely al Mahdi al Qa-im. The Holy Prophet is a warner for all people in all times, so the Imam (guide) in his progeny is also for all people in every age.(shia tafseer aqa mahdi pooya)

What the shias said regarding the Warner(only) was correct, since this is even affirmed by various verses of Quran, like (14:44), (19:39), (35:24), (34:28), (25:1), (6:51), (6:19) , that Prophet(saw) is the warner for all the people in all times.

Now people of intellect can realize that how foolish this claim is, which itself is sufficient to reject this narration, when prophet(Saw) can be a warner even after his death, then what stops him from being a guide? Why can’t Prophet(saw) be a guide , in the same manner he(saw) is a warner now?   When his teachings can warn us why can’t they guide us?

Part 1:Uncovering the true belief of shian e dajjal

The shocking thing you will come to know regarding this issue is that, though the shias inorder to deceive people say that they believe that prophet(saw) is a Warner now and he is not a guide, but on the other hand they believe that their Imams too were warners. They crossed all the limits of justice and fairness because the shias snatched away the title of Guide from Prophet(saw), saying he(saw) is just a Warnerr, but on the other hand they gave his title of Warner to their Imams. Here are few examples from shia narrations

1. (Al kafi H 648, Ch. 41, h 6) A person said, “O abu Ja‘far, the Warner is Muhammad (s.a)” The Imam (a.s.) said, “What you just said is true. Was there a Warner for the differennt parts of the land from those he had commissioned, while he (the Messenger of Allah ) was living?” The person questioning said, “No, there was no Warner.” Abu Ja‘far (a.s.) then said, “Consider the person he commissioned. Was he not his Warner, just as the Messenger of Allah, in being commissioned from Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, was a Warner?” The person said, “Yes, it is true.” The Imam (a.s.) said, “In the same way Muhammad (s.a) did not die without having someone as his delegate and Warner.”

2. (Al kafi H , Ch. 108, h 21) The Imam (a.s.) said, “Whoever from the family of Muhammad(s.a.) would become an Imam he will warn people by means of the Holy Quran just as the the Messenger of Allah had done.”

3.(Al kafi H 95, Ch. 11, h 1) Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad and ‘Abdallah (both) sons of Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Sayf ibn ‘Umayra from Mufaddal ibn Yazid who has said the following. “(Imam) abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.)said, ‘I would like to warn you about two forms of behavior that lead a man to destruction. I prohibit you from dealing with Allah on the basis of falsehood and from giving fatwa to people without knowledge.’”

4.(Al kafi H , Ch. 108, h 21) Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad `from al-Washsha’ from Ahmad ibn al-‘A’idh from ’Udhayna from Malik al-Juhanni who has said the following. “I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Gracious. “He has revealed this Quran to me to warn you and the coming generations (against disobeying God).. . .” (6:19) The Imam (a.s.) said, “Whoever from the family of Muhammad (s.a.) would become an Imam he will warn people by means of the Holy Quran just as the the Messenger of Allah had done.”

5.(Al kafi H , Ch. 108, h 60) Ahmad has narrated from ‘Abd al-‘Azim from ibn ’Udhayna from Malik al-Juhanni who has said the following “I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah. “. . .He has revealed this Quran to me to warn you and those who will receive it . . “. (6:19) The Imam (a.s.) said, “It means, whoever of the family of Muhammad (s.a.) will be the Imam he will warn people by means of the Holy Quran just as the Messenger of Allah did.”.

Now the contradictory belief of the shias is that on one hand they claim that Prophet(saw) is Warner for all people, but he is not a guide. On other hand they claim, that their Imams are warners, they warn people the same way as Prophet(saw) warned people.

They might try to escape away saying that no Prophet(saw) is actually the Warner(affirmed by quran) but Imams using the teachings of prophet(Saw) warn people, YET WE SHOULD SAY PROPHET(SAW) IS THE WARNER. So we now ask them that then why can’t Prophet(Saw) be the guide the same way? Because Imams while guiding people use the teachings of prophet isn’t it, So why don’t you say Prophet(saw) is Warner and Guide? Or do you(shias) believe that your guides(imams) had some other knowledge which wasn’t granted to Prophet?

The fact is that what all we saw were home-made beliefs of shias, which is why they were contradictory to each other, as quran says “Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many contradictions.(4:82). And the correct belief is that the way Prophet(saw) is warner, the same way he is still our guide. Shian e dajjal by openly declaring that Prophet(saw) is not their guide, but their hidden Imam is, they actually have removed the mask of being claimants of followers and lovers Prophet(saw) from their dajjali faces. May Allah preserve muslims from such deviants.

Part 2: Beliefs based on narrations which are oxymorons

Moreover what is more confusing to us is that, the shia narrations state that Prophet(saw) was a Warner and Ali(ra) was a guide.

For example (Al kafi H 484, Ch. 10, h 3) Al-Husaym ibn Muhammad al-Ash‘ari has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from Sa‘dan from abu Basir who has said that he asked Imam abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah. “(Muhammad), you are only a Warner. For every nation there is a guide.” (13:7) The Imam (a.s.) said, “The Holy Prophet is the Warner and Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.) is the guide.

Now as we have seen the contradictions in part 1, where even the Imams acted as and were titled as warners, but what is strange is that why did imam in the above narration said, Prophet(saw) is warner and Ali(ra) is guide?

There can be three possible interpretations for this narration:

1. During the lifetime of prophet(saw), Warner was prophet(saw) but Ali(ra) was the guide. (which is against quran, since we know that Prophet(Saw) was the guide of his time as mentioned in Quran (42:52)

2. After Prophet(saw) died, He still remained as Warner but Ali(ra) was a guide. But the irony is that shias labeled their Imams as warners after the death of Prophet(saw). So it makes no sense in shia Imam labeling Prophet(saw) as a Warner and Ali(ra) is guide. If Prophet(saw) was no longer going to be Warner and Guide after his death, why would he say that he was a Warner?

Either he would have said, Ali is the warner and Ali is the guide or Prophet is the warner and Prophet the guide. But what we have got is a narration which is an oxymoron, which is nothing but fabrication of shias.

3. This is about the narration of prophet(saw) where he(saw) said I’m warner and Ali is Guide, which can interpreted  in a way that prophet(saw) was to be the warner even after his death, but after his death Ali(ra) was the guide: But firstly the narration was reported in present tense not future tense. It could have been used by shias if at all the wordings should have been “I WILL be warner and Ali WILL be guide, or I’m warner and Ali WILL BE guide, but this is not the case here”.

Moreover if Prophet(saw) knew that after his death he was not going to be the warner(as we saw in shia narrations) then prophet(saw) should have said ” Ali is the warner and Ali is the guide. But what we have got are narrations which are oxymorons, which are nothing but fabrication of shias.

Does the word Qawm in the verse means Generation?

There are some more flaws in the shia interpretation of this verse(13:7), the problem with them is that, first they set incorrect rules and then they judge correct things with those incorrect rules, so but natural the result will be incorrect, and by doing such things they deceive innocent people. For example you take ruler which is not 1 metre(but its labeled to be 1m) in size, and with this ruler you  measure a piece of cloth which you bought from a shop, obviously you will find inconsistency in the measurement, now based on that you accuse the shopkeeper for deceiving you, but is this correct? The shias do the same thing, since they made wrong rules and when something went against it they declared that correct thing as incorrect.

Reply 1: Now what some shias did is that they considered the word Qawm present in (13:7) to mean generation, based on that meaning they claimed that for every generation there is just one guide, so even if there were other members from Ahlebayt, like abbas(ra) etc they couldn’t have become guides. But if you check the translations done by scholars for this verse, you will find that none of the translator translated it as “generation”, all of them(including shia translator) translated as either  people or nation. (comparative translations)

Also we know that in an era there exist several peoples(nations) at a time. For example see these verses of Quran:

And We made the children of Israel to pass the sea; then they came upon a people(Qawm) who kept to the worship of their idols They said: O Musa! make for us a god as they have (their) gods He said: Surely you are a people(Qawm) acting ignorantly.(7:138)

Except those who reach a people(qawm) between whom and you there is an alliance, or who come to you, their hearts shrinking from fighting you or fighting their own people(Qawm); and if Allah had pleased, He would have given them power over you, so that they should have certainly fought you..(4:90)

but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people(Qawm) with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance.(8:72)

So from these verses we came to know that there exists many Qawm(peoples/nations) at a time, and since for every Qawm there is a guide, then why can’t members of Ahlebayt like Abbas(ra) , ibn abbas(ra) etc , can be guides for other Qawm(peoples), which existed in that era?

Reply two: Even if supposedly we assume that the meaning of Qawm as generation is correct. Even then the interpretation of shias is incorrect. Because we believe that Musa(as) was a guide as well as harun(as) was also a guide, they together used to guide a single generation. So why can’t other members of Ahlebayt be guides in similar way?

Note: we don’t believe in a thing that members of ahlebayt specifically or only should be guide for a Qawm, or that they were divinely appointed as Guides and on the contrary by the help of Allah we have destroyed such beliefs in this article. But we gave this explanation in order to reveal before our readers that how foolish and illogical the homemade principles and arguments of shias are.

Did the Ahlebayt received some secret or additional knowledge from Prophet(Saw)? And did the knowledge granted by prophet(Saw) to Sahaba was different than Ahlebayt?

Well Ahlesunnah believes that Prophet(Saw) was not unjust, nor was he partial when it came to delivering Islamic teaching and knowledge to believers. It was the duty of Prophet to deliver the message he used to receive from Allah to his people, not just to Ahlebayt.  Prophet(saw) taught everything to all the believers in general which was necessary for their guidance and salvation. Prophet(Saw) didn’t teach any special rulings to Ahlebayt which were not taught to Sahaba.(in general). And whoso ever claims that Prophet(Saw) taught some special rulings to Ahlebayt, which was necessary to seek guidance and to attain salvation and that was not taught to any other companion is a liar. Because such people indirectly accuse prophet(Saw) for being unjust and even going against Quran Since Allah commanded prophet, O Messenger! deliver what has been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His message, and Allah will protect you from the people(5:67)

Here we see that  Prophet(Saw) was commanded to deliver every thing that was delivered to him to his people, even if there were any threats, because Allah was there to protect him. Thus muslims should believe that Prophet(Saw) didn’t teach anything special to Ahlebayt through which one could attain salvation,  which was not taught to his companions. Moreover Ali(ra) who is a member of Ahlebayt confirmed the same, he didn’t say he had some special knowledge : Ali(ra) said to Uthman RAA when he entered upon him: “The people are behind me and they have made me an ambassador between you and themselves; but by Allah, I do not know what to say to you. I know nothing which you do not know, nor can I lead you to any matter of which you are not aware. You certainly know what we know, we have not come to know anything before you which we could tell you; nor did we learn anything in secret which we should convey to you. You have seen as we have seen and you have heard as we have heard. You sat in the company of the Prophet of Allah as we did.(Nahjul balagha, sermon 164)

Now the thing to ponder over is that, if what prophet(saw) taught to Ahlebayt was same as that of Sahaba. And Ahlebayt weren’t given any sectret knowledge then why can’t people consider Prophet(saw) as the sole guide. And stick to his teachings and sunnah which is the primary source of guidance, which was narrated by both sahaba and Ahlebayt. Because teachings of Prophet(saw) and his sunnah  is what guidance is, it will remain till day of judgment the same. Allah is not going to change that, Same as Quran.

Should religious teachings and rulings be derived by the Imam of time only

We think that when shian e dajjal say that Prophet(saw) is no more their guide(nauzbillahi min zalik). They mean to say that, though religious rulings and sunnah of Prophet(saw) are the same and they are the guidance to attain salvation, but that should be specifically derived through the Guide or Imam of the time. That is why they went on to declare that Prophet(saw) didn’t remain their guide after his death. So at that time it was mandatory for the muslims to seek guidance from the Imam of the time, not the teachings of Prophet(Saw) through any other route(sahaba). If this is the case then WHY ARE THE SHIAS TAKING THEIR RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS FROM THE IMAMS WHO ARE NO MORE THEIR GUIDES?  Because every teachings they have regarding Islam, comes through their Imams who are dead, BUT not from the present hidden Imam. That too, from shia narrators, who are not even comparable to the greatness, trustworthiness and virtues of Companions of Prophet(Saw) who narrated us the teachings of Prophet(saw).

So now people should realize that, since the eleven(11) shia Imams are no longer guides, then why are they taking their Isamic teachings(which are a source to attain guidance) from them? They should take it from hidden Imam/guide of the time.

If earth can survive even if the present hidden shia Imam doesn’t provides the shias any guidance(sunnah and Islamic teachings),  then why couldn’t the earth have survived if there was no divinely appointed guide after the death of Prophet(Saw)?

And if shias can take Islamic teachings which are a means to attain guidance and salvation from people who at present are not their guides and are dead, then why can’t people acquire guidance from Prophet(Saw) after his death? If you say that yes  they could have taken, So then what was the need of divinely appointed Guides after him?

Secondly MOST IMPORTANTLY, when shias can attain guidance from the teachings of all those Guides who are no longer guides because they are dead, and without any role of guidance(in the sense of teaching sunnah) of the present hidden Imam. Then aren’t shias fooling people by saying that Prophet(Saw) after his death is no longer a guide? And aren’t shias deceiving people by claiming that there was a need of an divinely appointed guide after prophet(saw) because, the way shias are attaining “so called” guidance in the present era is without any contact with hidden Imam(just through the teachings of 11 imams) Similarly why couldn’t the muslims after the Prophet(saw) could have attained the guidance by the teachings of Prophet(saw), which are the primary source of Islamic teachings?

Why do even after the death of Prophet(Saw), Mainstream muslims(ahlesunnah) stick to the guidance of Prophet(Saw)(which is through is Sunnah) and consider him their final divinely appointed Guide?

Let us present before you the authentic narrations of prophet(Saw) to answer this question and keep in mind that shias don’t consider prophet(saw) to be their guide.

1. Sahi muslim Bk 20, Number 4553: It has been narrated on the authority of Hudhaifa b. al−Yaman who said: People used to ask the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) about the good times, but I used to ask him about bad times fearing lest they overtake me. I said: Messenger of Allah, we were in the midst of ignorance and evil, and then God brought us this good (time through Islam). Is there any bad time after this good one? He said: Yes. I asked: Will there be a good time again after that bad time? He said: Yes, but therein will be a hidden evil. I asked: What will be the evil hidden therein? He said: (That time will witness the rise of) the people who will adopt ways other than mine and seek guidance other than mine. You will know good points as well as bad points. I asked: Will there be a bad time after this good one? He said: Yes. (A time will come) when there will be people standing and inviting at the gates of Hell. Whoso responds to their call they will throw them into the fire.

Comment: this narration shows us that forever, only the guidance of Prophet(saw) should be used to attain salvation and to be guided.

2. Sahi mulsim Bk 30, Number 5668: Abu Musa reported Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: The similitude of that guidance and knowledge with which Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, has sent me is that of rain falling upon the earth. There is a good piece of land which receives the rainfall (eagerly) and as a result of it there is grown in it herbage and grass abundantly. Then there is a land hard and barren which retains water and the people derive benefit from it and they drink it and make the animals drink. Then there is another land which is barren. Neither water is retained in it, nor is the grass grown in it. And that is the similitude of the first one who develops the understanding of the religion of Allah and it becomes a source of benefit to him with which Allah sent me. (The second one is that) who acquires the knowledge of religion and imparts it to others. (Then the other type is) one who does not pay attention to (the revealed knowledge) and thus does not accept guidance of Allah with which I have been sent.

Comment : We find that deviants don’t accept the guidance of Prophet(Saw)

3. sahi muslim Bk 4, Number 1885: Jabir b. Abdullah said: When Allah’s Messenger (may peace he upon him) delivered the sermon, his eyes became red, his voice rose. and his anger increased so that he was like one giving a warning against the enemy and saying:” The enemy has made a morning attack on you and in the evening too.” He would also say:” The last Hour and I have been sent like these two.” And he would join his forefinger and middle finger; and would further say:” The best of the speech is embodied in the Book of Allah, and the best of the guidance is the guidance given by Muhammad. And the most evil affairs are their innovations; and every innovation is error.”

Comment: The best guidance is the guidance of Prophet(Saw), that is why we took him as our guide. In this narration as well as above ones we didn’t find prophet(Saw) mentioning any other guidance apart from his. Had it been that there were divine guides apart from him, he would have said that , in future people will seek guidance other than guidance of the divine Imam of that time. But Prophet(Saw) didn’t say this. Because only he is the divine guide till eternity.

Similar is mentioned in the following ahadees, where we will find that the two weighty things are Quran and Sunnah of Prophet(saw):

تركت فيكم شيئين ، لن تضلوا بعدهما : كتاب الله ، و سنتي ، و لن يتفرقا حتى يردا علي الحوض
I Left(Taraktu) with you two Things, you will never go astray after them: The Book of Allah and My Sunnah, these two shall not separate from each other till they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise).

Narrator: Abu Huraira RAA.

Narrator: Malik bin Anas.
Muhaddith: Ibn abdul Barr.

So these were the reasons Ahlesunnah derive their guidance from Prophet(Saw) and that is why He(Saw) is their Guide. Who is the best human guide that was sent.

Can’t earth survive without a divinely appointed Imam ?

This is the most ridiculous beliefs of the shias, which made many shias reject shiism and accept the saved sect, which is ahlesunnah. Here is one example of an ex-shia Iranian writer. (video)

We will let you know why, but before that let us cite an authentic narration from books of mainstream muslims(ahlesunnah) which proves that world could survive even without an Imam, Prophet (pbuh) prophesized the time without a Caliph.

sahi muslim Bk 20, Number 4553:It has been narrated on the authority of Hudhaifa b. al−Yaman who said: People used to ask the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) about the good times, but I used to ask him about bad times fearing lest they overtake me. I said: Messenger of Allah, describe them for us. He said: All right. They will be a people having the same complexion as ours and speaking our language. I said: Messenger of Allah, what do you suggest if I happen to live in that time? He said: You should stick to the main body of the Muslims and their leader. I said: If they have no (such thing as the) main body and have no leader? He said: Separate yourself from all these factions, though you may have to eat the roots of trees (in a jungle) until death comes to you and you are in this state.

Comment: So this narrations shows that there would be a time when there will be no leader(Ameer)(as this it is happening in this era). Well seems prophet(Saw) didn’t have the beliefs like the shias, that earth can’t survive without a leader. He(saw) wasn’t surprised when question asked what should be done when there is no leader. He didn’t say that how could earth survive with without a leader. Importantly he said that in those day people would seek guidance other than Prophet’s(saw) guidance. Prophet(saw) didn’t say in those days people will  seek guidance other than the guide of their guide, which itself is sufficient to understand how incorrect the homemade beliefs of shias are.

Here is the shia belief:

But the shias claim that there should be an Imam for every generation, even if an Imam is not present for an hour then the earth will be destroyed. That is why they claim that Prophet(saw) is not their guide after his death. But does this illogical and ridiculous belief hold any weight?  Lets find out.

Here we will see from some shia narrations that the earth can’t survive even for a day without an Imam.
Al Imam al Sadiq: The earth will not remain without an imam even for one day.
Kamal al Deen 221, Al Basa’er 143,150, Bihar al anwar 23/42,50,53, ithbat al hudat 1/130.

Well not just one day, But he goes more specific and says not even for an hour:
الباقر: لو أن الإمام رفع من الأرض ساعة لماجت بأهلها كما يموج البحر بأهله
Al Baqir said: If the imam was to be lifted from this earth for one hour Then it would start to shake like the sea shakes those (Sailing) in it.
Kamal al Deen (194,195,196), Ghaybat al nu’umani 88, Al Basa’er 124, Al bihar 23/34,35.

In the chapter “The earth must always have a Hujjah” of al-Kafi vol.1 pg.178, we read:
`Ali bin Ibrahim from his father from Muhammad bin abi `Umayr from Mansour bin Yunis and Sa`dan bin Muslim from Ishaq bin `Ammar from abu `Abdillah (as): “The earth does not exist without an Imam in it so that
if the believers add anything it is rectified and if they take away anything it is completed for them.” [Majlisi said “Hasan Muwaththaq” Behbudi “SAHIH”.]

But the irony is that the shias even believe that the earth will survive EVEN if there remains no Imam, that is after the death of their hidden Imam, who is the final Imam.

Narrated abI baseer: I Said to al Sadiq: O Son of rasul allah PBUH, I heard from your father that he said: After al Qa’em there will be 12 other Mahdies, Imam replied: He said 12 Mahdies not 12 Imams but they are a folks from our shia and they will call upon the people to follow our path and know our rights.

Comment: Well some ignorant shias who lack basic knowledge might claim, that after the death of Qaem(final hidden Imam), there will be 12 Mahdies, so the earth will survive because of them. But this foolish claim holds no weight, because then the shias will have to accept that, there are 24 Imams, Not just 12(Or that there are 24 guides, where as the reports always speak of just 12). Since the earth cannot remain without an Imam, So naturally if its remaining even after the death of the final Imam because of 12 mahdies, that means they too are Imams. That’s quite simple for intelligent people to understand.

Respected readers did you see how much contradictory the shia beliefs are? We found that they claim that because earth couldn’t have survived without an Imam there was a need of a divinely appointed Imam even after death of Prophet(Saw), since he(saw) who is the guide of Ahlesunnah, was no longer a guide. But these very same people without any shame even believe that after the death of their 12th Imam, the earth is going to survive. These beliefs of the Shias reminds us a beautiful verse from Quran:Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many contradictions.”[Quran 4:82]

Points to ponder over history:

Moreover there wasn’t any Prophet between Jesus(as) and Muhammad(saw) , neither we know of a guide between that period, which itself proves that the believe of the shias that earth cannot survive without an Imam is not only ridiculous and illogical but is even against historical facts. Some shias might say that as we don’t know the names of all the prophets who were sent to this world, we even don’t know who was the Imam before Prophet Muhammad(Saw) was granted Prophethood, but even this argument is weak like their other arguments and believes, because had it been so, that there was an Imam before Prophet Muhammad(saw) was granted Prophethood, then surely we would have found that Prophet Muhammad(saw) reminding his people that he was doing the same job which the Imam just before the day we was granted Prophethood was doing. He(saw) would have went to the followers of that Imam, and would have said that see I’m your new prophet and Imam. And even the pagans of Makkah wouldn’t have said that this is a new religion, had it been that there was another Imam, just before Prophet(saw) was granted prophethood who did the same job. Infact they would have said that Muhammad(Saw) calls people to the similar religion like So and so Imam who died few days back used to.

Or atleast Prophet(Saw) would have said that “why are you calling this a new religion or different call as if I said something new? Because before I was granted prophethood there was a person among you who did the same”, surely he would have named that Imam while reminding the people, since it was very important to establish before them that his call was not new, or unknown. We find that the names of only few Prophets are mentioned in quran several times in Quran the reason Allah did so was because the people residing there claimed to be either followers of those prophets or they knew about those prophets, this is the reason we find the names of few prophets mentioned several times in Quran, But if there was a divinely appointed Imam just before Prophet(Saw), surely people would have known him, So it would have been necessary for Allah to even mention that Imam in Quran, and would relate some of the stories or incidents of that Imam.

But nothing as such was reported. We know the biography of Prophet(saw), we will never find such crucial incident mentioned over there, because of the only reason that there wasn’t any divinely appointed Imam between Jesus(as) and Muhammed(saw).

Did every prophet leave behind him a “divinely appointed” successor who guided people after him?

Though in some cases we find that after one Prophet another prophet used to succeed him, and he would be a guide for those people. But this didn’t happen always, as evident from the words of Isa(as).

And when Allah will say: O Isa son of Marium! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah he will say: Glory be to Thee, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say); if I had said it, Thou wouldst indeed have known it; Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I do not know what is in Thy mind, surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen things. Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allah) did command me to say: Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a Witness to all things.(5: 116-117)

From the words of Isa(as) we find that Isa(as) first clarified that he didn’t teach his followers anything apart from what Allah commanded him, and After him Allah was the watcher and witness over the followers of Isa(as), now had it been that there was any divinely appointed Guide after Isa(as), he would have said that I was witness over them when I was with them but when you raised me, my successor was watcher and witness over my followers. Or would have said that Allah and my successor(Khalifa) were watchers and witnesses over them. But seems that the believe of Isa(as) was not like the shias, but more like Ahlesunnah.

Is the present guide/Imam of shias really guiding them?

This question is a thorn in the eyes of the shias, whenever seekers of truth ask them that how is their hidden Imam guiding them, they either give philosophical answers(being affected by pre-Islamic belief) that has absolutely no support from the Quran and Hadith or they give poetic justifications. Never will you get a straight forward and explicit answer to this question. Here we will prove to our readers that, the hidden Imam of shias doesn’t guide them at all.

Explanation 1: Like jesus even the occulatation of Qa’im qas foreordained by Allah.
He (Imaam Al-Saadiq (عليه السلام)) said: “That Allaah (تبارك و تعالى) has made three qualities in our Al-Qaa’im, which is three qualities from the Messengers (عليهم السلام). He foreordained his birth (like) he foreordained the birth of Moosa (عليه السلام). And he foreordained his ghaybah (occultation) like he foreordained the ghaybah of `Eesa (عليه السلام). And he foreordained the deceleration (in age) like he foreordained the deceleration (in age) of NooH (عليه السلام). And he made from after that the lifespan of our righteous servant (`abd al-SaaliH), namely Al-KhiDr (عليه السلام) proof upon his (Al-Qaa’im) lifespan. Al-Sadooq, Kamaal Al-Deen, vol. 2, ch. 33, pg. 352, hadeeth # 51

Moreover like jesus(as) even Qaem(shia Imam) is not on earth: here’s some SHIA hadiths :

روى إبراهيم بن سلمة، عن أحمد بن مالك الفزاري، عن حيدر بن محمد الفزاري، عن عباد بن يعقوب، عن نصر بن مزاحم، عن محمد بن مروان، عن الكلبي، عن أبي صالح، عن ابن عباس في قوله تعالى: (وفي السماء رزقكم وما توعدون) قال: هو خروج المهدي عليه السلام
narrated ibrahim ibn salamahfrom ahmed ibn malik alfazari from haidar ibn mohamed al-fazari from abbad ibn yaqoob from nasr ibn muzahim from mohamed ibn marwan from al-kalbi from abu salih from ibn abbas about allah’s saying in the quran :” And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised.” he said( ibn abbas) : this is about appearance of al-mahdi(as) ref: al-ghaibah by toosi(ra) page 175

The hadith clearly said that the promised mahdi (as) is in the skies

The same verse was explained by an other hadith with different sanad to ibn abbas (ra) :

narrated abu mohamed al-mohammadi from mohamed ibn ali ibn tammam from hussein ibn mohamed al-qatee’i from ali ibn ahmed ibn hatem al-bazzar from mohamed ibn marwan from alkalbi from abu salih from abdullah ibn abbas about allah’s saying: And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised. Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. he(ibn abbas(ra)) said : the appearance of al-qaim (as) .ref ; ghaibah page 175-176

So these narrations shows us that the occultation of Jesus is similar to hidden Imam of shias.

Now lets see what has quran to say about occultation of jesus(as), Quran says: Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allah) did command me to say: Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a Witness to all things.(5:117)

This verse proves that Jesus(as) didn’t even knew what his followers did after him, since he said after his occultation that he wasn’t a witness over his people, which proves that he wasn’t a guide in the sense in which shias label people as guide(though Isa may be a guide from his teachings, same as Muhammad(saw)) , So when Jesus(as) didn’t remain a guide after his occultation then in no way could the hidden Imam of shias be a guide after his occultation.

Explanation 2: Secondly, the shia narrations state that  Imam of the time will Guide people just as the Prophet(saw) used to guide them, for example (al kafi  H , Ch. 108, h 6) Ahmad has narrated from ‘Abd al-‘Azim from ibn ’Udhayna from Malik al-Juhanni who has said the following “I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah. “. . .He has revealed this Quran to me to warn you and those who will receive it . . “. (6:19) The Imam (a.s.) said, “It means, whoever of the family of Muhammad (s.a.) will be the Imam he will warn people by means of the Holy Quran just as the Messenger of Allah did.”. (similar narration is in al kafi  H , Ch. 108, h 21)

Now, anyone who reads the biography of the Prophet(saw) will find many examples of how Prophet(Saw) used to guide people. He used to guide and respond them in a satisfactory manner which left no confusion. If there used to be a dispute between muslims in the time of Prophet(Saw) he used to clear it by himself, and there remained no confusion between muslims regarding who was correct and who was wrong that is why there didn’t exist deviant sect in Islam during the lifetime of Prophet, But the irony is that though the shias claim that their present hidden Imam is guiding JUST like that of prophet(Saw), but on the other hand there are many disputes among the shias(who follow same 12 Imams) regarding their own beliefs, here is a classic example: Differences between Akhbaris and Usoolis.

Now if the present hidden Imam of shias is guiding the shias just like prophet(Saw) used to guide muslims,(as the shias narration says) then Why do we find so much differences among the shias? And each of them claim that they are the true shias.

Infact you find the present shia scholars of both shia groups proving one another wrong, but JUDGEMENT FROM PRESENT HIDDEN IMAM, which is opposite that how Prophet(Saw) used to Guide people during his lifetime.

A small comparsion between the present Guide of Ahlesunnah(prophet muhammad(saw) and 12th shia Imam.

After establishing these facts we leave it to our readers to choose their guide, since the Guide of Ahlesunnah is Prophet(saw) and the Guide of shias is hidden Imam.

Remember the final divinely appointed guide of Ahlesunnah even in this era got the No. #1 ranking among 100 most influential people. The research which was done by a non-muslim Michael H. Hart, who states in his book: My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels. Of humble origins, Muhammad founded and promulgated one of the world’s great religions, and became an immensely effective political leader. Today, thirteen centuries after his death, his influence is still powerful and pervasive. The majority of the persons in this book had the advantage of being born and raised in centers of civilization, highly cultured or politically pivotal nations.

These were the views of non-muslims regarding the present Guide of Ahlesunnah: (click link)

On the other hand the present guide of shias, didn’t get any spot in that list and he can’t even get a spot even if the list of most influential men is extended to one million.

After exposing the beliefs of shias we would like to present some beautiful verses of Quran:

“See how they will lie about themselves, and all that they used to forge will vanish from them. [6:24]

“We had given to them ears and eyes and hearts, but neither their ears benefited them in the least, nor their eyes, nor their hearts, as they used to reject Allāh’s signs; and they were encircled by what they used to ridicule.” [46:26]

It is not for any person to believe, except by the leave of Allah, and He will put the Rijs(doubt) on those who do not reason. Quran (10:100)

Open challenge to Shias:

As we have seen that the shian e dajjal have openly declared that prophet(Saw) is not their guide. But we Ahlesunnah strongly appose these deviants. In order to prove before the world the heresy of this cult and to show how deviated they are from true Islam, We are going to present them a challenge, and by the will of Allah this challenge will separate truth from falsehood. The shias can answer these questions by either commenting on the article or can send answer through mail. We promise by Allah that their answers without editing will be shown to public. (We give you a time period of 3 months to answer these questions).

These are the questions of our challenge:

1. Please explain us in explicit manner, what do you mean by GUIDANCE? In the sense that the “guidance which cannot be provided by the guide of sunnis, but which could be provided by your hidden Imam because he is alive”.

2. Please show us how is your hidden Imam guiding you, Since its the way through which unfortunately the Guide of sunnis(prophet(saw)) cannot guide the sunnis because he(saw) is dead? Please provide JUST ONE explicit and clear example, which could practically be proven.

3. If you can’t provide the definition as well as any example for the above two questions, then you may say that you are being guided from the teachings and sunnah of your Imams. If you say so, then what is the need of the guides after Prophet(Saw), Because Prophet(saw) is the primary source of Islamic teachings and Sunnah, and when these are the things through which you can attain guidance, So what is the need of the guides after him?

4. How will the earth survive after the death of Imam Qa’em(final shia imam)? If it can survive after his death, then who will be the Imam for those people? If the Imam will be Qa’em even after his death then why do you fool people by saying that the need of guide after Prophet(saw) was necessary so that earth survives?  When it can survive after the death of Qa’em, the same way it is surviving after the death of Prophet(saw).

5. How do you know that you people are GUIDED? When neither any of your practice nor your belief is approved by the present Imam, because there are a lot of contradictory beliefs even present in your cult, because of which you consider some of your shia brother as deviants and MISGUIDED ones, like Akhbaris. When such confusions and contradictions rose in the time of your previous Imams they used to judge and point out the ones who were correct and the ones who were wrong, So how is the present Guide doing that?

Note: we don’t need philosophical, poetic justifications; neither do we demand an answer where shias will throw before us the characteristics of an Imam. We need explicit and clear answer for these questions, the answers which would be proven practically.

Truth has (now) arrived, and Falsehood perished: for Falsehood is (by its nature) bound to perish.” Quran (17:81)

  1. Great Article brother.
I found this interesting Saheeh Shia narration:
    Narration is Authentic.

‘Infallable’ Imam says I don’t have knoweldge’. Can shias explain?

  2. al kafi: H , Ch. 111, h 36
Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabi from abu Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following. “Al-Abbass came to Amir al- Muminin Ali (a.s.) and said, “O Ali, people have come in a group to bury the Messenger of Allah in Baqi, the prayer place. Amir al-Muminin Ali (a.s.) them came out to the people and said, “O people, the MESSENGER OF ALLAH IS THE IMAM WHETHER DEAD OR LIVING. He had said that he must be buried in the place where he died. He then stood at the door and prayed for him. Then he commanded every ten people to come in and pray for him and come out”

This shows that according to Ali(ra) , Muhammad(Saw) is Imam even after his death, and this is the belief of Ahlesunnah.

    • This is the belief of the Ahlesunnah, but what is the belief of the salafi-wahabi, which is the group u appear to belong to. Especially in terms of tawheed where the latter claims God had hands and feet (=shirk) and is sitting in person on the Throne (authoubillah).

      • Brother, We know that much of hatred have been filled in your heart against Ahlesunnah by your Shia scholars, and this is the outcome of those seeds of hatred. But brother if you’ll see the reality you will get the shock of your life. Please watch this complete video.
